Like so many kids growing up in the Pasadena Valley in the early ’90s, Patrick Martinez‘ formative years were shaped by bumping hip-hop in beat up Cutlasses and b-boy movies like Wildstyle and Style Wars. While graffiti is still an essential influence on Patrick’s artistic expressions, he has traded in his Montana cans for Windsor Newton University brushes. Influenced by city life and urban decay, Patrick seeks to bring supreme beauty to things that we might find flawed or broken.

Since its inception in the year 2000, TOY2R has become synonymous with the designer/DIY toy revolution. With the creation of their first model, the monster like Toyer, to multiple animal incarnations, (e.g., bear, cat, dog) the QEE has reigned supreme among toy collectors.

The 123 Klan had humble origins in Lille, France, but core members SCIEN and Mrs. KLOR are now highly sought after in their field for their crisp character designs and strong aptitude for fresh formatting.

UNKL originally started on projects including skateboards and furniture, but they soon found their niche vinyl art toy market. The UNKL designs reflect their imaginative mind space, spiked with social satire and creative fantasy.

Mark James is the creator of Chinpira: The Sweet and Tender Hooligan (banned in the UK), and the Cardboy Series. CardBoy takes place in an urban wasteland, known as Cardboard City, populated by cardboard/vinyl hybrid beings.
